They also stayed on schedule despite the New Year's Day holiday and a freak icy/snow day in Charleston. The paint job was beautiful. Cavt Polite responded quickly to my call for an estimate. He came to my home the very day I called. After I showed him what I needed painted, he gave me a proposal on the spot . Cavt also worked with me on the scheduling of the work, giving me the date I requested for the work to begin. Even though he was booked up and couldn’t paint our house, we had been impressed by Mr. Polite’s knowledge, so we called him and described our concerns about the work another company was doing. He actually offered to drive all the way over and inspect the job for us right then, free of charge! He was just being a good guy, no strings attached. Mr. Polite displayed a real mastery of the details as he explained where the other company indeed had cut corners and then was kind enough to speak to them very diplomatically on our behalf, pointing out what was good but also what could’ve been done better. The other company’s owner respected what Mr. Polite said and agreed to make things right. Driving over mid-week and spending an hour+ of his time just to help a non-customer was the singular gesture of a first-class person. It should tell you everything about the type of company he runs. Finished my 1400sq house within 3 days and all at a very reasonable price. The contractors of my new built home skipped out on a lot of drywall issues that Cav't fixed for free, as well as painting some of my trim for free as well to blend the look(I did not request trim paint). He cares about the job, the customer, the paint quality he uses and recommends and explains very thoroughly. I am blown away by his professionalism, energy, and talent him and his team brought forth to my home and project.
